From pushing flight-cases, lugging steel-deck and coiling cables at private and corporate events in the late 90’s I’ve gone on to successfully activate and manage sponsorship accounts; deliver major events featuring live television coverage, world-class athletes, high profile celebrities, tens-of-thousands of participants and spectators, significant infrastructure and complex traffic management schemes in cities across the UK; and as Senior Sport Manager at Glasgow 2018, led an international team of staff and contractors through the development, strategic planning and successful delivery of a key Functional Area for the inaugural staging of a major multi-sport championships.
I’ve worked with international brands, major financial institutions, local and national governments and their agencies, charities, funding partners, professional teams, venues, international broadcasters, National Governing Bodies and International Federations to identify opportunities across sport and the arts, bring properties together, develop existing events and bring new concepts to life.
